After spending over a decade as a real estate advisor in Detroit and Florida, I embarked on a profound journey into the wellness industry. My own battles with PTSD and depression ignited a passion for self-love and mental well-being. Determined to rewrite my story, I immersed myself in holistic practices, traveled abroad to heal, worked closely with my spiritual mentor and embraced a holistic lifestyle.

In 2018, my personal wellness journey led me to found LaNirvana Wellness, a sanctuary where intention meets manifestation. Through our curated products like intention candles, healing herbs, and crystals, alongside transformative services, I strive to promote holistic healing for the mind, body, and spirit. It's been a journey of transformation, and I'm honored to share the fruits of that journey.

Who were you inspired by starting out?
Great question! My husband has been a monumental source of inspiration for me, introducing me to the holistic lifestyle. His guidance and support have been invaluable on this journey. Additionally, modern Leaders in the wellness industry such as Doctah B Sirius, Baba Pearson with Baba Living Earth Foods, Lalah Delia, Deepak Chopra, and Queen Afua has had a profound impact on me.

What do you wish someone had told you when you were just starting out?
Embrace the journey as a process of growth and learning. Prioritize consistency over perfection. It's okay to accept help from others -- learning when to start hiring before the burnout.

Favorite diversion:
I am an avid traveler who enjoys traveling abroad. I love practicing self-care through grounding, yoga, sound bath therapy, playing tennis with my daughter, weekly fitness activities, spending time with my Family, spa trips, reading and preparing meals.

Single most pivotal point in your career?
The single most pivotal point in my journey as a wellness advocate and I would like to add, leader and entrepreneur was the realization that true wellness extends far beyond individual health. It encompasses entire communities and cultures locally and on a global scale. This realization marked a shift in my approach, inspiring me to create not just a business, but a brand movement. A movement dedicated to empowering individuals and transforming societies through a holistic appraoch.

Time of day you are the most productive?
I am most productive first thing in the early rising between 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Hardest thing for you:
Mmmm, I would say the hardest thing for me has been learning how to surrender to the process of life -- learning duality where being a Wife, Mother & entrepreneur can most certainly co-exist by creating the necessary balance to allow everything to flow accordingly.

What the world needs more of:
Wholeness! More LOVE! To know the truth of SELF & where we all originate from.

Strongest inspiration comes from:
My strongest inspirations comes from listening to the Most High, guidance from my ancestral roots, my daughters, Mother and my Grand Mother.

Were there any fears you had to overcome to get to where you are today?
Yes, one of the biggest fears was, “caring about what other people think of me.” Once I truly let go, I started thriving.
